01 // Understanding
To gain insights into user needs and preferences, a user survey was conducted, targeting 20 individuals aged 18 to 35. The survey explored their browsing habits and expectations, providing valuable data to better understand the challenges faced by users. This research helped identify the following key areas for improvement, including difficulties with navigation, product discovery, and the checkout process.
->  Organized navigation
Streamlining the navigation structure to ensure users can easily find products and categories, reducing frustration and improving overall site usability.
->  Easy to browse layout
Enhancing the browsing experience to facilitate intuitive product discovery, ensuring users can quickly find what they’re looking for with minimal effort.
->  Stress test
Optimizing search functionality to allow users to efficiently filter and access desired items, improving the overall search experience and accuracy.
02 // Moodboard
Incorporated ZARA's signature black and white as primary brand colors. Complemented these with carefully selected secondary colors to infuse vibrancy and dynamism, catering to the target demographic.
03 // Solution: Horizontal Navigation
Transitioned from a vertical to a horizontal navigation bar to streamline the user experience, reducing the learning curve and minimizing frustration. Added a solid color background beneath the navigation text to improve readability and ensure accessibility.
04 // Solution: Search Bar
Implemented filtering functionality to enhance user experience and reduce bounce rates. Users can now refine their searches, reducing frustration associated with browsing through numerous items.
05 // Solution: Product Page Enhancement
Designed the product page for optimal viewing and comprehension. Implemented a format that is both familiar to users and facilitates quick and efficient skimming, ensuring seamless browsing experience.
06 // Solution: Quick Save Feature
Based on research revealing low engagement with the "quick view" functionality, the decision was made to replace it with an "add to list" feature. This change addresses user behavior, where multiple tabs were often opened for later review, by offering a more streamlined and organized browsing experience.
07 // Solution: Location and Language Preferences
Acknowledging the growing global nature of the audience, the focus was placed on enabling users to easily update their location and preferred language. This functionality ensures seamless access and personalized experiences, whether users are relocating to a new city or country.
